Because of the fifteen years I was senior editor or executive editor at Harry N. Abrams, Inc., I am best known as a developer and editor of major books on art history, art and architecture, and other humanities areas (see List of Publications). I have edited and developed some of the most successful art and design books of recent times, which range in subject from Tibetan Buddhist art to the history of landscape design. More recently, exhibition and collection catalogues have become a significant part of my work.
